Premium Develop and Scan Medium Format (B&W)

Premium develop and scan for medium format black & white film, 120 and 220 — our standard processing, with extra large scans and every frame corrected by hand.

Your film is developed on the same line, with the same chemistry, as our standard service. It is then scanned extra large — 18 to 30 megapixels depending on format, with medium format at the upper end of that range — on the same Noritsu and Frontier scanners, and every frame is corrected by hand in Photoshop against the profile we build with you. Manual dust and scratch removal is included, your negatives come back cut and sleeved in Print File archival sleeves at no extra charge, and your files are named to whatever convention you set.

Premium requires a one-time Client Color Profile consult before your first order. Without a profile on file there is nothing for us to match your scans to.

Turnaround runs about two business days longer than our standard service, and our 1-Day and 3-Day rush options both apply. Scans are delivered through a private Google Drive link and stay there for 1 year.
