I purchased an FX30 from Coastal Film Lab, and they included a 28–70mm lens with it for $1,200, which is an insanely good deal for this setup. The camera arrived in pristine condition, with no signs of heavy use or abuse, and everything in the kit was exactly as described.
I haven’t put it into a real-world shoot yet, but I bought it specifically to be part of a three-camera setup, and I’m excited to run it alongside my FX3 and Sony A7R V for documentary and web series work. This is genuinely the best camera purchase I’ve made in years, especially after watching this camera for over a year and waiting for the right deal to come along—and this was it.
Because the price was so low, I was initially worried about the condition, but those concerns disappeared as soon as I opened the box and saw how clean the camera was.
