Soligor 28mm f/2.8 Wide Angle Prime Lens - Canon FD for Ae-1

The Soligor 28mm f/2.8 is a compact, fast wide-angle prime lens made for Canon FD-mount cameras like the iconic AE-1, A-1, and FTb. With a 35mm equivalent focal length of roughly 42mm when adapted to digital APS-C, it's a great all-around lens—wide enough for landscapes and street shooting, but still tight enough to use for portraits or everyday scenes.

Optically, the f/2.8 aperture gives you plenty of flexibility in low light, while keeping the size and weight of your kit down. This is one of those no-nonsense primes that punches above its weight, and looks great on classic black-bodied FDs.

Condition: Excellent

This lens is in excellent condition overall. The glass is clean and clear with no haze, fungus, or scratches. There is mild Schneideritis—small paint specks visible inside the outer edge of the lens barrel, a purely cosmetic quirk found in many vintage lenses and does not affect image quality. The aperture blades are snappy and free of oil, and the focus ring is smooth and well-damped.

If you’re shooting film with a Canon AE-1 or adapting to mirrorless, this lens offers a sharp, contrasty, and very fun-to-use 28mm perspective.
