The Quantaray 70-210mm f/4-5.6 for Minolta MD Mount is a classic manual-focus telephoto zoom that gives Minolta film shooters a useful amount of reach without adding a huge amount of cost to a kit. Covering everything from short telephoto to 210mm, it works well for portraits, outdoor photography, compressed landscapes, and subjects that are simply a little too far away for your standard 50mm.
