This Promaster 80–200mm f/3.5 is a vintage telephoto zoom lens built in M42 screw mount, making it compatible with a wide range of classic 35mm SLR cameras from Pentax, Praktica, Fujica, Ricoh, and many others. With a fast maximum aperture of f/3.5 throughout the zoom range, it offers excellent low-light performance and a shallow depth of field, perfect for portraiture, nature, or isolating subjects at a distance.

Despite its budget branding, Promaster lenses from this era were often rebranded optics from well-known OEM manufacturers and can deliver surprisingly nice results when stopped down slightly.
