The Pentax ME Super + Pentax-M 50mm f/2 is a compact, lightweight 35mm SLR setup from one of Pentax's best eras. The ME Super manages to pack a bright viewfinder, aperture-priority auto exposure, and full manual exposure control into a body that's dramatically smaller than many comparable SLRs.

That small size is a big part of the appeal. Paired with the equally compact SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2, the whole setup is easy to carry all day and makes a great everyday film camera. The 50mm focal length is the classic do-a-little-of-everything option, equally comfortable shooting portraits, street photography, travel, or whatever happens to be in front of you.

The ME Super is also a nice choice for someone getting into film. Aperture priority lets the camera handle shutter speed when you want to shoot quickly, while the manual mode is there when you want complete control. Add in the enormous Pentax K-mount lens ecosystem and you've got plenty of room to build out a kit later.

This Pentax ME Super is in good used condition with normal signs of cosmetic wear. The light meter has been tested and reads accurately, and the camera is fully functional.

The included Pentax-M 50mm f/2 has slight internal haze and some internal dust. These optical imperfections may result in a mild reduction in contrast or additional flare under challenging lighting, but the lens remains fully functional.
