Pentax-M Macro 50mm f/4 Lens

The Pentax-M Macro 50mm f/4 is a compact true macro lens from Pentax’s classic manual-focus K-mount lineup. Built during the era when Pentax was making some wonderfully small SLR systems, it combines excellent close-up capability with the solid mechanical focusing feel that makes vintage Pentax glass so satisfying to use.

At 50mm, it works particularly well for tabletop photography, film scanning experiments, flowers, collectibles, product photography, and other subjects where you want to get close while maintaining a natural perspective. Outside of macro distances, it also doubles nicely as a sharp everyday normal lens. The relatively compact design makes it a great match for bodies like the K1000, MX, ME Super, and LX, while K-mount glass is also easy to adapt to modern mirrorless cameras.

Condition: GOOD

This lens is in good condition and fully functional. The focusing helicoid and aperture mechanism operate properly. There is mild internal haze present, which may slightly reduce contrast or increase flare when shooting into strong light. The haze has been factored into our conservative condition rating.

Cosmetically, expect normal signs of use consistent with a vintage working lens.
