Presenting Coastal Film Lab’s latest product: a drop in replacement for the troublesome original battery holder for the Pentax 645 medium format film camera. The original holders are made out of brittle, easily broken plastic and eat through half a dozen AAs every 10-15 rolls.

Our new battery holder for the Pentax 645 is a revelation for users of this camera! Gone are the worries over changing out half a dozen AA batteries - now simply plug into a usb - c phone charger before your shoot and the Coastal P645 Lithium Ion Battery is ready for around 30 rolls of use. It’s lightweight, competitively priced, and much better quality than the original holder

USB C cord and charger are not included. This needs a lower voltage charger - it doesn't work with fast charging.

Competing replacement products use 9v batteries that cost around $5 each and last 2-3 rolls of film - they’re also poorly 3d printed and don’t fit well!

This is compatible with only the original version of the Pentax 645.
