On Micro Four Thirds, 20mm gives you a 40mm full-frame equivalent field of view. That makes it a near-perfect everyday focal length. Slightly wider than a 50mm, slightly tighter than a 35mm. Ideal for street, travel, food photography, casual portraits, and just about everything else.

Despite its tiny size, the image quality is outstanding. Sharp center, strong contrast, and beautiful subject separation at f/1.7. It’s a cult favorite for a reason.
