The Olympus AF-1, also known as the Infinity in some markets, was one of the first fully automatic 35mm point-and-shoot cameras to feature a built-in flash and weatherproof construction. Released in 1986, the AF-1 helped set the standard for the modern compact camera, offering users sharp results with almost no effort — just load the film, point, and shoot.

It features a fast and sharp 35mm f/2.8 lens, quick autofocus, automatic exposure, and a built-in flash that pops up automatically in low-light conditions. This model also includes a Japanese-language selector switch on the rear display — a quirk sometimes found on domestic Japanese market versions.
