The Nippon Kogaku Tokyo Nikkor-Q 13.5cm f/3.5 is a beautifully crafted short telephoto lens designed for Leica Thread Mount (LTM / M39) rangefinder cameras. This classic 4-element “Q” (for Quatour) lens was manufactured in the 1950s by Nikon (then Nippon Kogaku) and is widely regarded for its sharpness, elegant rendering, and superb build quality. With its chrome-plated brass construction and precise manual focus, it's a pleasure to use and a must-have for collectors and vintage shooters alike.

The 135mm focal length makes this a great lens for outdoor portraits, landscapes, or compressed compositions, and its optical signature is pure vintage Nikon—sharp in the center with pleasing falloff and a warm tonal curve. Though designed for LTM rangefinders, it can be easily adapted to modern digital mirrorless cameras with excellent results, where it takes on a dreamy, character-rich rendering at mid-to-long distances.
