Built like a tank, the Nikonos III is waterproof down to 50 meters (160 feet) without the need for an external housing. Its fully mechanical design means it operates without batteries, making it ultra-reliable whether you’re shooting in the ocean, in the rain, or on land.

Paired here with the Nikkor 35mm f/2.5 amphibious lens, this setup offers a versatile field of view underwater and excellent sharpness with classic Nikon rendering. The amphibious lens is designed for both land and water use, unlike some of the underwater-only Nikonos optics, making it a great all-around companion for exploration.

This Nikonos III with 35mm f/2.5 lens is in excellent condition. The camera body is clean with only minor signs of handling, all controls function properly, and the shutter fires as it should. The 35mm lens is also in excellent condition, with clear optics free of haze, fungus, or scratches. Aperture blades are snappy, and focusing is smooth. While fully functional, as with any vintage underwater camera, a service and new seals are recommended before diving use.
