The Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 Ai-S is one of the quintessential manual-focus Nikon primes. Fast, compact, and beautifully built, it’s the kind of lens that feels equally at home on an FM2 or F3 as it does adapted onto a modern mirrorless body.
