Nikon AF Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 D

The Nikon AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D is one of Nikon’s classic true macro lenses and a longtime favorite for close-up, product, copy, and general-purpose photography. On compatible Nikon F-mount cameras it provides 1:1 life-size reproduction without additional extension, making it a particularly useful lens for scanning film, photographing small objects, digitizing documents, and getting properly close to the tiny stuff.

Outside of macro work, the 60mm focal length also makes a surprisingly nice normal-to-short-telephoto prime. On 35mm and full-frame cameras it sits just beyond the traditional 50mm perspective, while on Nikon DX bodies it gives a field of view roughly equivalent to 90mm, making it useful for portraits and detail work as well.

As a D-series AF lens, autofocus is driven by the camera body’s screw-drive motor, so autofocus availability depends on the Nikon body being used. It works particularly nicely with Nikon’s higher-end film SLRs and DSLRs that retain the mechanical AF drive, while it can still be used as a manual-focus lens on many other compatible F-mount bodies.

Condition: EXCELLENT

This lens is in excellent condition with minimal signs of normal use. The optics are clean and clear, and the focus, aperture, and autofocus mechanisms are functioning properly.

A particularly nice example of a genuinely useful Nikon lens that can pull double duty as both a dedicated macro and an everyday prime.
