Minolta SRT101 35mm SLR + 50mm f/1.4 Rokkor PF Lens

The Minolta SRT101 + Rokkor-PF 50mm f/1.4 is a classic all-mechanical 35mm SLR setup from Minolta’s golden era. The SRT101 earned its reputation as a rugged, straightforward camera with excellent controls and access to Minolta’s seriously underrated Rokkor lens lineup. It’s a great choice for anyone who wants a traditional manual film photography experience without a lot of electronics getting between them and the shot.

The included Rokkor-PF 50mm f/1.4 is a particularly nice pairing. Its fast f/1.4 aperture gives you plenty of flexibility in lower light and makes it easy to get shallow depth of field for portraits and detail shots. Rokkor glass from this period has developed a loyal following for its combination of sharpness, smooth rendering, and excellent mechanical feel.

This example has received new light seals and remains a usable shooter, but a few condition issues put it firmly into our One-Off category.

Condition: ONE-OFF

The camera is operational but has several issues that should be noted:

• The cold shoe has a dent.
• The light meter currently overexposes by approximately one stop, so compensation will be required when using the internal meter.
• New light seals have been installed.
• The 50mm f/1.4 Rokkor-PF has mild internal haze, which may slightly lower contrast or increase flare, particularly when shooting into strong light.

The camera otherwise functions and makes a great user-grade SRT101 for someone comfortable compensating for the meter offset or using an external meter.
