The Minolta Rokkor-X 50mm f/1.4 is a fast, sharp, and beautifully rendered standard prime lens for Minolta SR/MD-mount cameras. Known for its warm color rendition and smooth bokeh, this lens is a favorite among film shooters and digital adapters alike. With a classic 7-element design and a bright f/1.4 aperture, it performs wonderfully in low light and delivers striking subject separation for portraits and detail work.

This is the later MD Rokkor-X version, which features improved coatings and slightly lighter weight than earlier MC designs. It pairs perfectly with Minolta SRT, XD, and X-series bodies—and adapts well to mirrorless cameras with the appropriate mount adapter.

Condition: Good

• Glass was professionally cleaned to remove a prior fungus issue—one small etched mark from the fungus remains, visible only under strong light and unlikely to impact most real-world images
• Coatings still appear strong, with no haze or major scratches
• Aperture blades are clean and snappy, with no oil
• Focus ring is smooth and well-damped
• Filter ring is scratched and slightly dented, but still accepts screw-in filters without issue
• Body shows typical signs of use, but no major damage

This is a great opportunity to own a fast, classic Minolta prime at an affordable price—ideal for anyone building a vintage SLR kit or exploring adapted manual focus lenses on digital.
