Leica Meter MC

The Leica Meter MC is a beautifully compact clip-on light meter designed for Leica M-series rangefinders, giving photographers a clean way to add through-the-shoe metering without dramatically changing the size or feel of the camera.

Unlike bulky external meters, the Meter MC integrates elegantly with the minimalist Leica shooting experience. It was especially popular with photographers using fully mechanical Leica bodies like the M2, M3, M4, and M4-P who wanted accurate metering while still keeping the camera lightweight and discreet.

The Meter MC reads ambient light through its front-facing photo cell and displays exposure information directly to the user, making it a fantastic companion for:

It’s also just a very cool piece of Leica engineering from the era when accessory design still had a strong industrial-art feel to it.

Condition: GOOD
This meter shows noticeable cosmetic wear from use and age, but importantly the photo cell is still functioning properly. A nice usable example rather than just a display piece.

Please note that vintage light meters can vary slightly in calibration compared to modern meters, but this unit remains operational and responsive to light.
