Kodak Ektacolor Pro 800 is a professional high-speed color negative film made for photography in low light and rapidly changing conditions. Its ISO 800 sensitivity supports faster shutter speeds while retaining natural skin tones, balanced color, smooth tonality, and excellent exposure latitude.
It is an ideal 35mm film for weddings, concerts, nightlife, indoor portraits, street photography, action, and handheld shooting around dusk. We typically recommend this stock be shot at 400 iso, though it does work reasonably well at 800 iso as well with careful metering, as this is based on older Vision 2 tech rather than the Vision 3 that 160 and 400 are made with.
Ektacolor Pro 800 is the Eastman Kodak-branded counterpart to Kodak Professional Portra 800 sold through Kodak Alaris. The underlying film stock and photographic characteristics are the same, with the difference being the Ektacolor name, updated packaging, and Eastman Kodak distribution.
This listing is for one 36-exposure roll—not a multi-roll pack.
