Impossible Project Spectra Instant Polaroid Film

The Impossible Project Spectra Instant Film is a discontinued instant film pack made for Polaroid’s wide-format Spectra / Image System cameras. Produced during The Impossible Project era before the company adopted the Polaroid name, these packs have become interesting pieces of modern instant-photography history in their own right.

Spectra film used a wider rectangular image format than standard Polaroid 600 film, giving cameras like the Spectra System, Spectra ProCam, and various Image-series models their distinctive look. Unfortunately, new Spectra film was discontinued years ago, so surviving packs are now sought after by collectors, experimenters, and photographers willing to roll the dice on expired instant film.

This pack has a 2017 production date. Given its age, we cannot guarantee that the chemistry, integral battery, or individual sheets will still function correctly. Possible results range from usable but heavily shifted images to incomplete development or a pack that no longer functions at all. For that reason, we'd consider this primarily an experimental or collectible item rather than reliable everyday film.
