The Hasselblad A12 Film Back is one of the defining accessories of the legendary Hasselblad V System and a big part of what made these cameras so revolutionary. Rather than being tied to a single roll of film, Hasselblad bodies use interchangeable film backs, allowing photographers to preload multiple backs with different film stocks and swap between them in seconds.

The A12 is the standard 120 film back, producing 12 exposures of 6×6cm negatives on a roll of 120 film. It became the workhorse back for generations of commercial, portrait, fashion, and landscape photographers, and remains the most sought-after back for anyone building or expanding a Hasselblad system today.
