Graflex "Baby" Speed Graphic 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 Medium Format Press Camera

The Graflex Baby Speed Graphic is the compact sibling of the iconic 4x5 Speed Graphic press camera, built to shoot 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 sheet film. Beloved by mid-20th century press photographers for its portability and rugged design, this smaller format version retains the focal plane shutter and rangefinder focusing that made the Speed Graphic a professional workhorse.

This example comes with three film holders and even includes a 50-pack of black and white film, making it a fantastic starter setup for anyone wanting to experience classic press camera shooting in a more manageable format. The smaller size also makes it more practical for handheld use compared to the larger 4x5.

Condition: GOOD

This camera is in good cosmetic condition with normal wear for its age. The lens shows some wear and has minor fog/fungus that has been cleaned, leaving it usable but not pristine. The shutter fires at all speeds, though it could benefit from a CLA for accuracy. The focal plane (body) shutter has not been tested for accuracy. The rangefinder is in decent shape and aligns well enough for use. Overall, this is a working example but would benefit from servicing for best results.
