The Fujifilm Provia 100F RDP II in 220 format is a legendary professional E-6 slide film known for its balanced color palette, fine grain, and incredible sharpness. Compared to Velvia, Provia has always been considered the more natural and versatile sibling, making it a favorite for editorial, travel, portrait, and commercial work where accurate but still beautiful color mattered.

RDP II-era Provia stocks are especially appreciated for:

  • Neutral-to-cool Fuji color rendering
  • Fine grain and excellent sharpness
  • Smooth tonal transitions
  • More forgiving contrast than Velvia
  • Gorgeous transparency projection and scans

The fact that this is 220 format makes it especially uncommon today. 220 film offered roughly double the exposures of standard 120 without changing rolls, making it highly desirable for medium format professionals back in the day.

This roll expired in 01/2001 and has been fridge kept, which significantly improves the likelihood of usable and interesting results compared to poorly stored slide film.

Expired E-6 film from this era can produce:

  • Color shifts
  • Increased contrast
  • Density variations
  • Surreal or nostalgic tonal changes

Which is exactly why many photographers actively seek it out now.

Condition: EXPIRED / FRIDGE STORED
This roll is expired dated 01/2001 and has been stored refrigerated. As with all expired slide film, results can vary depending on exposure and processing conditions.

Bracketing exposure is strongly recommended when shooting expired E-6 film.
