Canon FTb QL 35mm SLR Film Camera + FL 50mm f/1.8 Lens

The Canon FTb QL + Canon FL 50mm f/1.8 is a classic old-school Canon SLR setup from the era when cameras were unapologetically mechanical, heavy, and built to take some abuse. The FTb is a great choice for someone who wants a straightforward manual 35mm camera with a satisfying film advance, match-needle metering, and access to Canon’s excellent FL and FD-era glass.

The included Canon FL 50mm f/1.8 makes this a versatile everyday kit. The fast f/1.8 aperture is useful for available-light shooting and portraits, while the 50mm focal length gives you that familiar normal perspective that works for everything from street photography to family snapshots.

Condition: GOOD

This camera is in good working condition with noticeable signs of age and use. The shutter, film transport, and other camera functions are operational. The light meter is functional but currently underexposes by approximately one stop, so we recommend compensating by adjusting your ISO setting or using an external meter.

The included 50mm f/1.8 lens is fully operational but has a couple small spots of fungus along with some internal dust. These optical imperfections may slightly reduce contrast or increase flare in demanding lighting, particularly when shooting toward strong light sources.

Overall, this is a solid user-grade FTb kit for someone who doesn’t mind working around the meter offset and wants a classic manual Canon shooter.
