The Canon AE-1 Program Black + 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. is an especially handsome version of one of Canon’s most popular 35mm SLRs. The AE-1 Program built on the original AE-1 by adding full Program auto exposure while retaining manual exposure control. The Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. is the real cherry on top, with a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture for low-light shooting, portraits, and shallow depth of field. The S.S.C. multicoating also helps maintain contrast and control flare while delivering the classic Canon FD rendering these lenses are known for.

The included Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. lens has faint internal haze. The haze is minor, but may slightly lower contrast or add a little glow when shooting into strong light. Focus and aperture operation are functioning properly.
