Canon AE-1 35mm SLR Film Camera + 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C Lens

The black Canon AE-1 paired with the Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. is a particularly nice version of one of the most iconic 35mm SLR setups ever made. The AE-1 is already a film photography staple, but the less-common black finish and faster f/1.4 lens give this kit a little more appeal than the standard chrome-body, 50mm f/1.8 combination.

The AE-1 combines straightforward manual focusing and exposure control with shutter-priority automatic exposure, making it approachable for someone getting into film while still offering plenty of control for experienced shooters. The 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. is a great upgrade over the typical kit lens, with an extra stop of speed for lower-light shooting and shallower depth of field. Canon's S.S.C. multicoating also helps maintain contrast and control flare while retaining the classic rendering people seek out from vintage FD glass.

This is a great everyday 35mm setup for portraits, street photography, travel, or a photography class, with the black AE-1 body making it an especially handsome example.

This Canon AE-1 is in excellent condition with minor signs of normal use. The black finish presents nicely overall, and the camera is fully functional.

The included Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. lens has slight internal haze. The haze may cause a modest reduction in contrast or additional glow when shooting into strong light, but the lens remains fully functional.
