Mounted on any Leica screw mount (LTM) body—or adapted to modern digital rangefinders and mirrorless cameras—it offers a timeless combination of speed and character. With its classic 7-element design, the lens produces rich tonality and that signature vintage look photographers love.

This lens balances well on classic Barnack Leicas, Canon rangefinders, and with an adapter, it’s right at home on modern digital systems where it delivers a unique, slightly lower-contrast rendering compared to modern glass, making it an excellent choice for portraiture and street photography.

This Canon 50mm f/1.4 LTM is in good overall condition and fully functional. The front element shows minor scratches, which may cause a slight reduction in contrast or introduce flare when shooting into strong light. Otherwise, optics are clean with only light internal dust expected for its age. Aperture blades are free of oil and move smoothly, and the focus ring turns with proper resistance. Barrel shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with regular use.
