The Canon New FD 100-300mm f/5.6 is a classic manual-focus telephoto zoom from Canon's highly regarded FD system. Built during the final years of the FD mount, this lens combines a useful telephoto range with the compact, lightweight design that made the New FD series so popular among travel, wildlife, and sports photographers.

Covering everything from short telephoto to long telephoto, it's a versatile lens for photographing wildlife, outdoor sports, compressed landscapes, and distant subjects. Unfortunately, this particular example has significant optical issues that place it outside our standard grading criteria.

Condition: ONE-OFF

This lens is fully functional mechanically, with smooth focus and zoom operation and a properly functioning aperture. However, it has heavy internal haze, which will noticeably reduce contrast and image quality, particularly in bright or backlit scenes.

Because of the extent of the haze, this lens is being sold as a one-off example. It may still appeal to photographers looking for a budget telephoto, those interested in restoration, or filmmakers seeking a softer vintage look.
