Unlike a typical mirrorless camera that happens to shoot video, the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is built around filmmaking. The interface, monitoring tools, recording options, and connectivity all feel much closer to a traditional cinema camera. Its Micro Four Thirds mount also gives you access to a massive lens ecosystem, from inexpensive native primes to adapted vintage glass and full cinema lens setups.

The combination of internal Blackmagic RAW recording, ProRes options, a large 5-inch touchscreen, dual native ISO, and external USB-C recording makes this an incredibly flexible little production camera even years after its introduction. It is equally happy stripped down for a lightweight handheld setup or buried inside a full cage with external power, audio, storage, and monitoring.
