The Anscoflex II is a mid-century twin-lens reflex camera designed by the legendary Raymond Loewy, best known for his work on everything from the Coca-Cola bottle to locomotives. With its brushed metal body, pop-up viewfinder hood, and space-age styling, the Anscoflex II is arguably one of the most unique-looking cameras of its era—and a true icon of American camera design.

Unlike most TLRs, this model is extremely simple to use: fixed focus, a single shutter speed, and an f/11 lens make it perfect for bright daylight snapshots. However, it uses 620 film—a now less-common format—which means most folks today display this camera rather than shoot with it. That said, 620 film is still available through specialty shops like the Film Photography Project, who hand-roll fresh stock onto 620 spools for adventurous photographers.
