The Nikkormat FT3, released in 1977, is the last and most advanced model in the Nikkormat lineup. It features Nikon’s Automatic Indexing (AI) system, making lens mounting easier and improving metering accuracy. Unlike earlier models like the FT2, which used the older “bunny ears” system, the FT3’s AI compatibility means it works with a wider range of Nikon lenses, including AI and AI-S types. Plus, it uses a modern 1.5v silver-oxide battery instead of the old mercury ones, making it more practical today. Overall, the FT3 keeps the sturdy build and reliability of the earlier Nikkormats while improving to be more in line with the Nikon FM series.

Great cosmetic condition. The camera works perfectly, the light meter is accurate, and shutter speeds are accurate. The Body has many scratches and small dinks that don't affect the use of the camera but do add some character.
